Maren Haase
About me
I´m Maren. I grew up in the north of Germany in a small village. At the age of 14 my interest in photography began to evolve with an analog Minolta X300 and a 50mm lense.
After my graduation as a technical specialist in plant breeding I moved near Munich and found the job I love. The following years I worked for different research projects at the Munich University.
In my free time I did a lot of sports: kajaking, canyoning, snow shoe walking, cycling, running and archery.
In those times photography moved a bit in the background but with my entry into the world of digital photography my passion came back again.
Since 2008 another hobby of mine, archery, grew more and more as I became a judge for national and international archery.
So I had the opportunity to travel all over Europe and world wide to be part of all different kinds of archery competitions including also the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 which definitely a highlight in my judging career.
My constitution and experience from doing sports gave me a lot of benefits for judging and I enjoy the spirit of sports at competitions with people from all over the world and share experiences from different cultures.
At this time I began to realize that I am blessed, because
exploring the world not only as tourist, trying amazing food and following my passion in photography on different parts of the planet is what I love.
Here I want to show you my world. My pictures. My impressions.
And my happiness !
